Meldrum Construction is proud to support and sponsor Perth’s premier rugby club, Perthshire Rugby.
The club has a proud history, dating back to 1868 and plays an important role in the local community, encouraging boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds to try rugby, exercise and above all, have fun.
Our relationship with Perthshire Rugby spans fifteen years and we look forward to continuing our sponsorship.
We know how valuable the sponsorship is to the running of the club – with funds being used to buy new equipment, kits, general operating costs, and transportation to away fixtures.
As part of our annual sponsorship with the club, Meldrum Construction officially sponsors one game per season.
Last weekend, our team of guests enjoyed watching the match against Hillhead Jordanhill RFC in style, with full matchday hospitality.
Unfortunately, Perthshire Rugby narrowly lost, 14-32, to the Glasgow side, in a very close and entertaining match.
Derek Petterson, CEO commented, “Our team of guests had a fantastic day out watching Perthshire take on Hillhead. It was a very competitive game and Perthshire was unfortunate not to win the game.
