Long Service Dinner | Employee Recognition

Long Service Dinner

Last Friday we held our long service dinner, alongside our sister company, McLeod Glaziers, to celebrate and show our appreciation to members of our team who have worked for us for over 10 years.

The evening kicked off in The Kings James Pub before a 3-course meal at Deans Restaurant.

11 team members attended the dinner and cumulatively, between both companies, there was a total of 275 years’ service – a very impressive number.

Our CEO, Derek Petterson, made a brief speech to further explain the purpose of the evening and to show his personal appreciation.

Derek, commented, “Meldrum is very fortunate to have had a very low staff turnover throughout the years, with many of our staff remaining with the company for over 10 years.

We have a highly skilled and experienced team, and I am extremely grateful for the commitment and loyalty that our long-term team members have shown.

It was a great evening and one that our long-service team members fully deserved.

I would once again like to thank everyone for coming and for their continued hard work and dedication.”

The Meldrum team members who attended the evening and were acknowledged for surpassing the 10-year milestone at Meldrum were:

Scott McNae – Maintenance Division Contracts Manager – 30 years of service

Mike Guild – Director of Survey & Estimating – 19 years of service

Terry Williams – Foreman – 19 years of service

Aaron Cannon – Joiner – 18 years of service
