To support increased demand and business growth, Meldrum Joinery & Building have invested substantially in new machinery and tools.
We are proud to hold several long-term contracts with local Councils and Housing Authorities, along with multiple projects for private & domestic clients.
We are particularly excited to take delivery of our new JCB 1-Tonne High-Tip Dumper. The dumper’s main role will be to support our team on-site, with tasks such as the digging of foundations. It will improve the productivity of the works by effectively getting rid of the rubble and by effortlessly delivering raw materials to the project areas.
Along with the new dumper, we have invested in other tools & machinery in excess of £20,000 in value, as follows:
- 3KV Generator
- Site Mixer
- 3-Piece Ladder
- Blue Steel Float
- Mi-Tower
- Dehumidifier
Along with investing in new machinery & tools, we will also be investing in expanding our team and taking on another apprenticeship. Meldrum has a great relationship with Perth College through funding their Joinery Scholarships each year.
